S2000 Time Trials on track, any interest?

I, like Jaundice, would be interested in this, but am a noob at TT or any track event for that matter! What exactly is a NASA event in regards to other motorsports and why would you need a license (davidnyc)? I would assume bc its a tt you would be alone on the track or spread apart far enough to not affect anyone in front of you?
TT = time trial = is sort of like an HPDE but you are "racing" against the clock and passing rules are much more lenient, therefore only open to advanced drivers or racers.
