its definitely nice to have a garage. make sure you find an oversized one beyond whatever the number of cars it is for. the extra elbow room will really help out for a workshop or getting in a floor jack on the side of a car.
mine is just over 600 sq ft. and has a window unit a/c which has already proved itself its weight in gold. i've been studying up on 6speedonline to see what those guys are using for flooring. seems to be split between racedeck and the paint on coating. hmmmm, fun decisions, though!
