Default TEIN Flex

I decided I am going to lower my car about 1.5 inches. I checked prices on one of our sponsors's sites and it's about $1280. I called Jotech and they said they could get me the set for $1350 shipped and installation is $225.

My question: is this a good price and shop for installation? I've heard some bad things about Jotech, but have never had any work done there.

Or if someone on here wants to help (and by help I mean I'll come to your house and have you do it, because I'm not very mechanical) me do it, PM me and we'll work something out. Thanks in advance.

Just order it online and have a local board member help you install. It's not that hard and I wouldn't pay 225 to have Jotech do it.

Gernby and I switched my stock suspension for his JICs in a couple of hours. That was for both cars.

It would help to have someone to help you guide and tighten things but it can be done in an afternoon by one person in their driveway and a jack.

That install price seems very steep.

Also, if you aren't planning on auto-x, and you only want to lower an inch and a half, you could definately get away with just some springs and stock shocks... for a while.

mic crispy and his buddy matt helped me install my flex, and it wasnt the easiest of tasks especially the driverside rear, so 225 isnt that bad compared to hours of hard labor.

i bought my flex and edfc from jotech and would trust my car in the hands of their mechanics but felt like i was up to the task of installing them on my own.

if i had to do it all over again i might just cough up the 225 and sit in the AC reaading car mags while the mechanics do what they do best.
