Default TEIN

So I have plans to get the TEIN Flex's with EDFC and was wondering if anyone has had any experience installing this setup. I'd just like to know the level of difficulty and/or the time frame and tools needed for this job. The two links below are in the DIY section and are some fantastic how to's.

Either I order them now with plans to install them myself, or I wait and pay a shop to do it for me...

PS I'm a pretty minor wrencher and aside from taking my stereo out I've never done any interior dismantling

DIY
EDFC

Thanks for any input yo

If you pay a shop more than $40 they will be laughing all the way to the bank..im not to sure about adjusting htem though. Maybe the come with an average adjustment out of the box?

Agreed. Save your money and just get a regular set of coilovers. The EDFC is just a waste of money.

I have TEIN Flex on my car. I didn't do EDFC, seems like a waste.

Ivan pretty much did all the work, but it did seem pretty straight forward with the right tools and few fellow s2kers.

Let me know if you want pictures, or have any questions.

PS: Vivid Racing hooked me up on the price, they may be able to help you out too!

For the same price as the Flex + EDFC you can get the KW V3, which is the route I would go.

Is it really that much of a waste? I kind of wish that I had something like EDFC for my Buddy Clubs. My girl doesn't even ride in my car anymore. Between the aftermarket seats and suspension, she complains that my car makes her boobs hurt. Adjusting the dampening on the front of the car is easy, but the rear is kind of a PITA. I am kind of an old guy though.
