Default Test Pipe Issues

So I bought a 70MM Invidia Test pipe w/ CEL Fix.... put it on, threw a code... installed a de-fouler... threw a code... this is on a 08 CR... what are my chances that the de-fouler is bad and if I get another one and install it, it will throw another code... getting tired of messing with it already lol... any other suggestions?

This is a constant thing on MY06+ cars. I got tired of it and sold my test pipe and bought a Berk High Flow cat.

It's not the de-fouler, it's not the Test pipe, it's the car being more sensitive.

Not sure if this will help you, but here is the thread I started after I started having issues with the TP.

So its pretty much hit or miss with 2 anti foulers... if it dont work with 2 prolly just sell the TP right?

his year is on below his avatar on the left hand side of his post, 2003, and as such, doesn't necessarily apply to your situation, as ch0pper stated the 06+ are more sensitive

my car doesn't throw a CEL with the Berk TP and just the built-in CEL fix (which just extends the o2 sensor about 2 inches from the exhaust stream).

I would like to hear from some 06+ guys... Is everyone's 06+ throwing a code or just some... Is it even worth throwing on the 2nd de-fouler just to see if it will work? Or is it just going to prolong the inevitable...

Might not be effective, but did you try unplugging your battery to reset the ecu? It will probably come back on though...
