:jealous: Your screen is 6" larger than mine.

GT4 pisses me off because in high-def it keeps switching from HD to SD every time it goes from the menu to the race screen. How hard would it have been to keep everything in the same definition/resolution? My projector takes a good 5 seconds to switch, so I don't even bother with HD GT4 any more.

I still need to figure out a way to get my wheel to mount with my theater seats.

BTW... there is a program that you can run on your PC that will allow you to do internet battles with GT4. I haven't tried it, though. I just know that it exists.

I've never done the LAN thing with my PS2... just the 2-player battle.

Can you do a side-by-side (or upper/lower half) race on the same screen - or is this for a my house to your house kind of thing?
Hook up a few playstations and battle it out. We used to hook up 4 PS2s and run it at Deep Forrest, each with our own TV. Man, the action was intense. Our battles would end up about .00X so many times. Usually coming out of the last corner, grabbing a draft and edging them out at the end. I miss those days...

I've tried it -- it's really slow and laggy. GT4 dropped the bomb in online play for this thing.

In fact, LAN play is really difficult to setup. It took us 3 or 4 tries before we got it set up. But after it was set up, man it was well worth the wait.

i use a 65" hd rear projection tv, and there is a noticeable switchover; but it isn't 5 seconds long...

i guess its a projector issue and not a function of the ps2/game.
