Thinking of selling
My sister just had a baby and for a new born you will need alot of room, especially for the stroller, it would be a bit difficult to stick that in the trunk of an accord with all the other baby stuff.
wat i do recommend is get a cheaper vehicle that is safe and reliable.
she got a 2004 Suzuki XL-7, 7 passenger, with less than 20k miles for about $15k, she's had it for about 5 months now so it should be a bit cheaper.
it's a great looking car, drives amazing, is on the cheap side.
keep the S, sell the truck, pick up a cheaper alternative than a new nearly $30k minivan

The minivan is a bit much for one child. As far as Van's go - you can't beat the Odyssey. If your wife has gotten used to sitting up higher perhaps a Pilot or a CR-V would be better. Accords are good family cars, but I've found getting car seats into them isn't exactly easy.

I think you were talking about Expeditions... but to me an "X" is a Nissan Xterra... and as the president of the Southwestern Xterra Club I happen to like them quite a bit

A nice compromise between a van and a sedan is a hatchback, older shape Saab 93 springs to mind.
I had one before my S2k, you'll pick up an 02 for 10-11k if you look hard enough.
In fact, if you'd made this post 3 months ago we could have done a nice trade

Having two is hard. I barely drive either of my S2000's now. I loaned my '06 to my mom just so I can get the car past the break in mileage! I'll drive them even less when my civic arrives. Can't wait for track days and autocross to begin...

I agree and disagree with some of the responses here but if you find a way to
keep the S, that would be great!
We got our 1st minivan 2 weeks before our daughter was born and I had the
same feelings about having a big ole fugly box to drive. We're on our 5th
one now and have seen them evolve over the past 18 years. Our latest is
a 2006 Odyssey that we've had a month now. {Thanks Scott P.} The first 3
were Dodge Caravans and the last 2 Odysseys.
The new ones drive well and haul a lot of stuff. It might be a bit much for one
baby, but babies require a lot of stuff and they grow up and require more
stuff. Are you going to stop at just 1. 2 kids need even more Shi-- I mean
stuff. Plus when you are not hauling kids, they can carry a lot of things when
you fold the seats down and it's always covered from the elements.
They are also great for taking long trips in. Lots of room to stretch out and
pretty good gas mileage. Did I mention that the kids can actually see out
the windows when they're not watching DVD's.
So don't let anyone talk you out of one if you can afford one and it's what
you want. See Scott P. and take a drive in one. {He didn't put me up to this}
Good luck and congrats with the upcoming arrival and hope you can find
a way to keep the S2000!
