Anybody have any experience with replacing a timing chain tensioner???

It's easy-peazy (if you have a cold air intake). I've done it twice already in my 20K miles. There are only about 3 bolts to remove and you're done. There should be a How-To in the UTH section.

Like a bicycle with a playing card in its spokes. It's RPM dependant, too. Faster with higher RPM, slower w/ lower RPM. Sometimes you only hear it at certain RPMs, too, depending on how bad it is.
