Tire wear discussion...

Something that I am trying differently on my current rear tires is to rotate them from side to side during the dry months. The Kumho 712s are directional, but I don't notice any strange behaviors in the dry. I am doing this to even out my wear, since my passenger side rear seems to wear much faster than the driver side. When rain season begins again, I may even flip them over on the wheels to even out the wear due to camber.

I bought my 2000, S2000 from the dealer with only 3000 miles on it. They still had the original S-02. I now have a little over 12,000 miles on her (all miles commuting Interstate 70 in MD) and the fronts are mint but I can notice a little wear in the rears but I still will probably get 20,000 miles on the rear before they have to be replaced. Not to bad.
On another note: I want to get some all weather tires for the mid fall/cold weather driving/rain. Any suggestions/best tire out there.
Cheers!

HS2 -- I have some yokohama's on my civic that are decent in the wet, but they're a bit loud. (Could be the roads here in Seattle).
I really don't like tires made for the wet. I much prefer having rubber that's geared for super-dry conditions (no slicks please tho) and then just drive like a grandma in the rain.
