Monday night about 11 p.m. I was driving home from a buddys house, an old Dodge Charger pulled next to me. We were about to run when we saw about 10 cops with their lights on behind an 18 wheeler. After we passed all the cops I thought we had a clear run for sure, so we punched it. He had me by half a car till about 120 then I started to pull hard. I look down at my speed-o then looked back up and saw a cop on the shoulder about 50 yards ahead. The Charger hit the brakes hard but I knew it was too late so I stayed on the gas. A mile down the highway I exit going 135. It was all good until an unexpected curve came. I tried to make it but couldnt, I slid off the road down into a ditch, up the other side of the ditch then nailed the gaurd rail and flipped then came to rest after sliding on my top for about 25 feet. The cop showed up after I had crawled out. All I had was a bunch of cuts on my left forearm and a sore neck. I spent 7 embarrassing hours in jail. The next day I went to the crah site and saw that I snapped two woodin posts that hold up the gaurd rail and a third was leaning sideways. I will try to post pics of the car tomorrow.

I have a set of black with red s2000 floor mats(perfect cond), a set of JDM clear sidemakers (perfect cond), and a silencer that was used for my Apex N1 exhaust. Make offer if anyone is interested.

So will your insurance cover the loss? I would think not once they read the police report.

You're racing on the streets and running from the cops, and you totalled your car? You'll get no sympathy from me. Looks like you've got no one to blame but your own blatant stupidity.

Hopefully you'll learn a lesson from this experience.

im pretty sure that insurance will cover it, Full coverage means full coverage but the rates will go way up.

altiain- not asking for any sympathy, and dont tell me that you have never street raced. I have NO regrets for what I did, I am young and this is one of lifes lessons. The cop told me that if I would not have wrecked she would have had no chance on catching me. I am very thankful cause I know I should have been injured worse, it will make me think twice next time and this situation will not happen again.

You should probably go read the clause on your Texas auto policy where the insurance company can deny coverage if the loss happens while committing a felony. I am not saying they WILL deny, but they do have that right.

Congratulations. Not only was the accident high atop the worst idea list, but you've posted a first-hand account of breaking the law on an open, public forum.
