TWS had a cancellation for the June 28-29 weekend so they are gonna keep it, and Motorsport club has this new date. MSC events are usually a moderate number of cars with more track time than you can use (5 or 6 25-30 minute sessions a day), and a lot of fun.

Since The May event was cancelled (twice) and the only other I have on my schedule is the fall SpeedVentures date, I am going. Would love to have company.

Their sign-up (http://www.texasworldspeedway.com/mscmail.htm) not updated yet, but I have a letter that says to specify the June 28-28 'wildcard weekend'. I assume the price is the normal $250 if you just buy the one event.

Do you know if this is going to be just for drivers who have already solo'd there before?

No, it will be a normal event with a green group for those that have not been solo'd yet. And the MSC instructors are pretty cool; if you show decent car control and attention to passing and flags, they will cut you lose pretty quick if you want.

I think I drove in the blue group last time and they did require one check ride before I was left alone.

In fact I think they will offer their Miata's for rent for those that don't want to drive their own car.. I don't know what they require other than an extra $250 and gas.

Any idea when the cut off will be for registration? I'm not ready to commit, but I'm definitely interested.

I'd like to go. I'll check my schedule and check book to see if I can make. I haven't tracked my car yet.
