Vortech Dyno Results 297.9 WHP!

I didn't mean to say that he "pulled on you". What I meant was that he gained distance on you throughout the next 1 or 2 laps. I didn't get enough time on the track around TypeSH yesterday to see how I stacked up, but at the last SBH event, I followed closely for 15+ laps. Granted, he was on old tires, and I was on heavily heavily worn tires.
I am not concerned about straight line acceleration, if it doesn't improve overall lap times.

In the 2nd session he gained distance on me when I had Pat in the car, because I was instructing her. I pulled back to 1/2 throttle, so that she could see a clean line in my car. I was also pointing out subtle moves that she could make with the car with out throwing the balance off. This was a non-competition event. I was also stepping up to the role that I was given to instruct a new female that came out by herself.
There was always 2-3 car lengths between us for safety. I wouldn't want to have an accident with a race car privately owned by someone that has Thousands vested in the car, nor would I want that to happen to me.
I took typesh driving style and tried to soak my mind with it. He is an awesome driver. I can admit with more power, it still doesn't make me a better driver.

Big Ben, Thanks!!!
another note.
As far as Alamo is concerned the results speak for themself. I know have a torque curve vs. a torque line. When I have a bad experience I will not continue to do business regardless of who it involves.
Brice is very interested in learning more about the S2000, he currently doesn't have a S2000 client. Tunning a/f is tunning a/f so that it is safe on the car. period.

Congrats on the numbers!
I didn't have a very good experience with Brice at Alamo. I needed a custom fabricated CAT for my Civic Si and they didn't have the proper flanges in stock. So he wanted to sell me a smaller CAT using a smaller free floating flange because they already had the flanges that they cut off from another CAT. The junk flanges he wanted to use wouldn't seat properly with the header I was using. He was more interested in $$$ than doing the job right.

Hey Jeramy,
Let me say... As another North Texas Supercharged S-car owner.... The thing is a freakin screamer. No, I haven't been around the track at TMS after the install but... I have sure confused some C5 guys out on the streets. Sometimes the pull on the car, especially in 3rd is downright scary! By the way...Vortech paid for the parts and the problem is fixed for now. still get more vibration than I would like but lookin into that.
Open it up next time you're at the track and make up that .2 by about 2 seconds... I'd like to see you shut some jealous folk up!!!!!
Just a thought form your fellow install buddy!
