VSV Performance
Nobody works on my car but me (maybe you too), but I might need to get some aluminum tubing welded for a cold air intake feed to the turbo. I've heard they do good work in this area. Anyone else you can suggest?
VSV does have a TIG welder and the owner is an excelent welder. IF you are looking for custom exhuast work, you will not be dissatisfied.
FYI, marcucci, it is under new ownership and will be catering towards high end imports and domestics. The new owners both have vipers making well over 470 rwhp.
Thanks for playing.

I only have a Civic but as people can attest my work is much better than that car deserves. What car the owners have means squat. Kenny Tran had the fastest door-slamming Civic in the US at one point (not sure now) but last I heard he hadn't done any of the work other than dropping the engine in.
What does speak for a shop is the kind of work THEY produce. I have fixed a lot of VSV's mistakes in the past. I have seen at least 2 cars that were missing several bolts after clutch jobs with everything that was there overtightened. It does not speak highly of their work that I've had to clean up their messes.
New ownership can make all the difference in the world, as well as new mechanics. Unfortunately mechanics turn over about as often as car salesmen so it's hard to keep track of what shops are good and bad.
Caveat Emptor.
