What is this button? (Newb question)
On my new-to-me 2002 S2K there is a small flat circular rocker just below the cruise control switch on the dash that I cannot find reference to in my owner's manual. It appears to be a factory item as there is a molded dimple in the dash surface to accommodate it.
I have not noticed any effect when toggled. Anyone able to clue me in about the function or intent of this "Mystery Switch"? I have noticed a few abandoned non-factory wire anchors in the engine compartment, so I suppose it could be the remains of an aftermarket install of the former owner, but the switch sure looks factory.

I have a 2002 and have no such "dimple". The cruise control sw. you refer to is the one just left of the steering wheel? Nothing below that sw. on my car. Perhaps someone installed a set of fog lights and had the switch there.

Thanks for the replies! I'll take a photo when I can get a few minutes and post it in this thread for general interest.
Closer inspection of the "dimple" on the dash shows it to be a very well fitted bezel for the switch, so it is definately an add-on. The wire anchors are across the top of the firewall in the engine compartment. They are standard white nylon 3/4" square self adhesive anchors for use with nylon cable ties. No wire or cable ties remain in them.

Same on my '02 - must have been an add on.
