Talking of wildlife, there was a lot fo variety up at the front, both muntjac and fallow deer, the latter bounding across the road in front of us just after Tring Station.
A dive bombing red kite on the Cholesbury Road, it looked proper Top Gun as it rose up and disappeared into a gap in the tree branches.
