Bristol / Glouceter Meet: 20th September
No venue decided as yet, but the date was agreed as 20th September.
(EDIT: Venue now The Tudor Arms near Slimbridge)
What do people think about a venue? Should still be relatively warm so something outdoorsy could be nice - we could go up to Sharpness Canal, or somewhere along the Avon somewhere? There's a couple of nice pubs along the waterside in Keynsham - could always try one of those?
It's likely that after this one I'm going to hang up my organising boots and let somebody else take over - I quite like the idea of a change every year to keep the meets fresh and interesting, so perhaps we should all have a think about who should take the reins...
Anyway..

Do we need a 'regular' organiser - or perhaps a different one for every month with the organisers planned a few meets ahead ?

Alex,
I guess you've been lumbered with more than yourfair share recently, but I think the approach of different organisers has worked well and ensures the effort is balanced and the meets are varied.
Certainly I am happy to arrange the odd meet or two, as I did earlier in the year.
As for September.... it's in the diary!

i reckon you should organise a meet in s wales.
A Sunday morning trip over to the mountains has to be on the cards.
i.e. more of this....
But hopefully, none of this...
