Chatelherault Classic Car Show (sunday 22 Aug)
this sunday i'll be buffing my bonnet at the...
Chatelherault Classic Car Show ( 22 Aug 2004 from 9:00am ) - located near Hamilton in sunny Scotland.
i'll be there with loads of other folk from another car club i'm in called SS-R (www.ss-r.com)
it's sad i know but it was a really good day last year - as long as the weather is good...
so if you're not doing anything else then come aloing and say hello and have a gander at some really tasty cars * bikes (old & new).
here's the blurb from the organisers:
Dear Auto Entusiast,
Chatelherault Classic Automobile Rally 2003
I am writing to invite you to attend the annual Chatelherault Classic Automobile Rally, which will be at Chatelherault Country Park on Sunday 17 August 2003
As in previous years this will be held at Chatelherault Country park with the magnificent William Adams designed eighteenth century Hunting Lodge providing a beautiful backdrop
There is free car parking for visitors to the event and there will be a designated area for exhibitors and stall holders to park their cars and trailers.
Chatelherault Classic Automobile Rally is a platform for all auto enthusiasts to display their pride and joy and share them with a crowd of over 10,000 people.
While the automobiles and motor cycles will be the focus of the day and the main attraction, we will alsoe have other activities to make the event a real family fun day. So if your vehicle is pre 1980 or unusual in some way, and you would like to display it in the Chatelherault Classic Automobile Rally, please complete and return the enclosed form by Friday 1st August 2003.
If you erquire further information please do not hesitate to contact myself or Tom McCormack at the above telephone number
Yours sincerely,
Josephine Gillies

Been a while since I've been to a classic car show. I'll need to see if I can make this. I'll be the one looking critically at your polishing job
