Yes apologies for my tardy meeting up on the Friday. I did truely have a shocker of a hangover after a night out on Thursday. Only managed to meet up with Chris and Jo (good banter! )

Still, the weather on Friday was great and there was so much to see! There were loads of highlights but two stick out.....
1. Having a chat to Jochen Mass in the drivers club at approx 7pm on Thursday - top bloke!
2. Red Bull F1 doing a quite superb couple of donuts at the top of the hill!

Looks like I fecked up with the beers guys, sorry.

Was a quick day to find our feet on the Friday and Saturday I was driving so I was intending to do some beers with you lot on the Sunday.

Then I discovered I had no phone when the wife phoned my mate looking for me. Oops.

Anyway, FWIW, what a great event. Really a lot better than I was expecting. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I'm only just back so I'll post some pics/comments later as the pics are on my laptop.

Next year I shall be there and camping!

Well only just got around to sorting my pics from the Friday, so posted a few below. It seemed a bit quieter than in the past - maybe the threat of rain kept a few people away. The machinary was unbelievable as always, and the mechanics and drivers all so chatty.
