Update: I've been accepted. So subject to weather I will be there. On previous experience it's good to get there stupidly early. what time do you plan on getting there ?

Anyone want to meet up and convoy down ?

Expect I'll go on the more fun roads from Guildford through godalming, haselemere, fernhust, midhurst to Goodwood.

Can rendezvous with anyone along the route. Timings to be confirmed.

Its an hour drive Guildford to Goodwood and gates open 06:30. Based on previous times I've been, cars have been turned away even if they do have a pass so I was thinking of departing Guildford at 5:30 to get there for opening, (and to avoid the big queues for bacon sandwiches !).

Suggested meet point is the Shell garage here. Its open 24 hours so great if anyone needs a VPower or coffee top up.

Sounds like that would be a very early start for you then. Let me know either way. I'd be happy to move meet time to 6am if that helps but a lot of cars do rush down for opening time to secure their space.
