Coming From the South:
Leave A1(M) at J4 (junction after Hatfield Tunnel), Cross over A1(M) and left at Roundabout (down hill towards Stanbourough), At bottom of hill left at the roundabout and under tha A1(M) up a short hill and then Right at the next roundabout (past Grange Motors a Jag Dealer) follow this road for about a mile and at next roundabout turn right under the A1(M) and at the other side of the bridge turn left at the roundabout. The pub is at the top of the hill on your left.
If you look at a map you are following the route of the A1(M) towards the pub. (the pub's car park used to be part of the old A1)
