Just found out tonight that the pub I was trying to get us into will not budge on the 'NO RESERVATION' policy they have - ideally it had a Optimax liquour store opposite too!!!
Although it is called the willy wicket!

If I'm around on the 8th then you can count me in too. The Willy Wicket is just down the road from me.
If there's no joy from the WW, there's the Emersons Green Beefeater about 1/2 a mile away at the next junction on the A4174. That's got a pretty big car park and a Shell garage with lashings of Optimax next door.
