I'll be there. Can someone give me a rough idea of numbers? I will then go to the Caldecotte Arms today to ask them to reserve an area for us. I think the original time was 11am. That will probably be a little early for food. So does this mean a a drive out first?

I know the roads in Milkton Keynes well, and some of the surrounding roads as well. I have a couple of reservations of leading a drive out though. 1st is I havent done this before so im not sure of what 'pace' to set. If it was me on my own on country roads I would be trying to get as near to mach 2 as poss Added to the fact the only time ive met any of you guys was briefly at the NEC the other week so again not sure of how spirited a drive or what roads you would like / expect to go on.

Now the 2nd point. My front shock has given up the ghost. Its knocking quite badly (all the juice has gone ) So im not sure a blast around country lanes is too advisable. Ive got used to the handling of it, was in Cornwall the other week and had fun on those roads, but im a little nervous about it. Ive ordered a complete set of Koni adjustables but they dont arrive till the end of the month

M@rk I dont mind leading as long as I have a clear set of directions and route - but i dont know the roads, and will be navigating myself.

It shouldnt be a race or anyone showing off, just a enjoyable drive on some nice roads, with the usual S2000 courtesy Of course there will be some here and there

First post and a quick hello to Ironhead, M@rk and tomperry

My first S2000 meet and although I missed the drive and had to settle for an ice cream, it was good to have a chat and meets some owners and see the cars.

If you have another MK meet, I will try and get up earlier

There is a Herts meet in Welwyn Garden City on the first Thursday evening of every month.

(I was planning to come along today on the bike but the wife decided she wanted to buy a piano )

We lost, and I have hyper-extended my right elbow. Should've gone to the meet
