We'll be heading up to Norfolk on Friday 11th. Anyone interested in a convoy with a pub lunch stop on the way.?
Surrey to Norfolk via Cambridge area. Can meet people on route if needed.

10:30 - depart Cobham Services (M25 J10) - meeting point : Shell Petrol station

12:30 - arrive Plough Inn, Great Chesterford
we'll decide over lunch whether to take the direct or more scenic route to Norwich.

Don't forget you'll need to top up your DartCharge for the tunnel. I'll go slow after the tunnel to allow us to regroup if we get separated. Try not to pick the same barrier or we'll end up getting a bigger separation than needed.

If you're coming up via the M11 there's plenty of nice country pubs just off J9 / J10 which would then let you drop back on to A11/A14 to Norwich.

If you do decide to stop in the area for lunch then we'll join you.

Sure no problem.

I'm thinking about Cobham services (near J10) being the initial rendezvous point for those in Surrey, then anticlockwise through the Dartford Tunnel to avoid the Friday traffic near Heathrow. We can then have a few other checkpoints on the way to sweep up those further round (e.g Birchanger on the M11, lunch stop south of Cambridge, Thetford etc).

Keep an eye on this thread nearer the time for expected timings.
