There is a lot of copper in phone cables and its worth a small fortune for scrap. Thats why they do it.

This country needs fibre optic cables, that will #### them off!!

NigelC - im in Risborough so not too far - i will come along when i find a good value s, a friend has had a coulpe so he is in charge at looking at them and buying it with me - cant wait !
