I agree, that is a piss poor menu for £25 per head. Have we as in the club actually paid them any money yet, i.e. do we have any bargaining power?

Neither my wife or I like bubble and squeak or cauliflower so it looks like our main consists of Thyme and garlic chicken breast, baby carrots, red wine gravy.

Just hope the starter & pud are bloody large portions otherwise we will be with Andy getting extra food at the bar.

Please don't think that I am having a go at you Carrie as I am not, this is just very shabby service from the hotel considering we are a decent sized group.

I will ring her again on Monday - the more I think about it the more I think she's made a mistake although she was adamant about the choices. Will report back.

Thanks Carrie, really appreciate the work you're putting in on this. Maybe another choice would be good, even if its a burger and chips from the bar menu. But 25 quid does seem a bit steep for chicken and yesterdays re-heated vegetables....

As Andy says, really appreciate the work you have done to pull this together. Even if we don't get another choice of main could you ask if we could at least have a choice of potato rather than bubble & squeak, boiled, baked, whatever just not green shit mixed in with it :-)
