What a cracking day out!

A big thanks to Martin and Carrie for their help. Whilst we're on the subject of thanks; the club funded our little function room, so thanks to them, Thanks to Sara for the beer and a huge thanks to XM655 Maintenance and Preservation Society. They couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. We raised approximately £370 for the aircraft on the day and Charles of MaPS asked me to thank you all on his behalf for your generosity.

Finally, thanks to all those who came and played a big part in making the day what it was

There were some very good photos taken with the aircraft and I'm also getting a copy of the photos taken by MaPS official photographer (Avril) which I'll post when I get them.

Thanks Paul and Martin for a first class meet and Carrie, despite you protesting you weren't an organiser you did a great job with the hotel and sorting out a meal for us fussy buggers - the food was pretty good I thought.

and of course it was great to see such a beautiful and well preserved lady (I'm talking about the large one with the bombs underneath of course ). Will try and work out how to get the pics off our new camera later and post a few of the better ones up.

Lets hope next year we can get to meet a few more of our more northely S owners.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to Carrie and Martin for helping Paul arrange this and therefore helping me not having to deal with a stressy git!

Also want to say a big thank you to everyone who came and supported this event, it was a beautiful day with some great photos - we were so lucky with the weather

Great that we had a function room to ourselves in the evening so we could all sit together, and the meal was lovely in the end
