1st post updated with final meet details:
Meet at 10.00am at St. David's Hotel, Ewloe, somewhere in car park.
This is on B5125 near Hawarden and junction of A55 and A494. Only just off the Junction.
It is a good hotel with all the facilities for those wanting to make a week-end of it.
Very close to English border so no excuses for the Northern crowd.
Start drive 10.30 a.m. SHARP.
Drive will be about 135 miles taking in The Ponderosa, Horseshoe Pass, The EVO Triangle, Lake Bala, Clwydian Hills, Nant-y-Garth Pass and other interesting places. It will be a good test of driving skills. Lunch stop will probably be at The Sportsman's Arms. Other stops at Ponderosa and Afon Wen.
I need someone to lead some of the route, volunteers please!
There will also be a few pistonheads folks coming.
