I'm a member of MCR-VTEC and they normally meet up in excellent locations with a decent turn out, not been for a while like but last time was at the chill factor car park behind trafford centre.
I can do Sunday but if its a morning, you'll struggle to get me out my bed!!

Next Sunday morning you will have a sh1t load of S2's in the North West but I would guess that most people will be recovering from a night of 
& 
after MM7 and won't be in any fit state to drive including myself

how about the sunday after this if that suits people better am not too bothered on the sat or the sun but think more people will attend if its on a sunday?

Is this supposed to be a drive/meet or a get together for a chat meet? A 'gathering and a bit of banter' sounds like a get together to me, why don't you do this in the evening and meet at a pub for a chat if that is the case?
However, if it's a proper drive then yes next Sunday morning would be good, I would suggest (I have started this below) a list, and if a proper run the original poster (killa_uk) should have a route in mind and PM everyone on the list the start time and post code, please put the starting point date and time in the first post of the thread.
