OK - I been looking at the route for the meet.
Starting at the Craven Heifer we are going to head north as far as Muker, then loop back south ending the day close to where we began, alongside the A65 in Giggleswick, the Old Station Inn. (handy heading home in all directions).
This route is 68 Miles long from start to finish, so only an hours driving or so before and after the main lunch stop, although there are plenty of nice rest stops around the route, and yes the Buttertub Pass in on there.
So in terms of lunch, what do we fancy, I was looking for a pub mid route, there are some but parking could be a problem. Since there is a pub stop at the start and end, I was wondering what people thought of Picnicing? Can take a gas stove and make a load of bacon butties?? If that goes pear shaped we can always get food at the last pub. Thoughts please.
I'll PM everyone on the list the route towards the end of the week
Gavin
Ps, where's P 1, Red S2000, and Blurter and all those others who I know are not far from the Dales????

That sounds awesome to me Gavin
The route should be plenty long enough and we can make some nice stops for pictures etc.
The picnic idea is a good one too! mmmm bacon butties
I'm not sure where the others are, i'm sure they'll be about soon
Let me know if theres anything I can do to help you out Gavin.
Thanks for sorting this out.
