I should point out that, as leader, it's great having a yellow car at the back of the convoy. It's much easier to see that everyone is still there. Much better than the silver ones which just blend in

Don't worry about the last car - just the one behind you

Enjoyed today's - weather was perfect

Gareth, sorry for not waving goodbye, lost in traffic at Ricky roundabout - forgot to mention we usually just peel off to our own destinations by there
No worries, I knew where I was by then

Great run this morning, really enjoyed it. Good value breakfast, even if it cost half a tank of v-power to get there

Good to meet you Simon and see you all again on the 28th I hope

I drove this route at 7 this morning because I fancied a raz and it is great

It got a bit foggy towards towcester but most of the way was glorious sun if a bit chilly. I think I need to buy some gloves!

Maybe...

My girlfriend finishes her shift at 2 am so if I haven't got tanked on Saturday night then I may well come along as she will be asleep most of Sunday!

Thanks for the heads up on the route, I live in the middle of town near the begining of the A40 so it is really easy for me to get out to. This morning I didn't have my tomtom so I was a bit wary of cameras; there is at least one forward facing one .
Also, because I didn't know the route I was a bit less relaxed than I would have liked.

It is certainly a good way to wake up and I look forward to doing it again.

BTW don't forget that the clocks change 2am next Sunday morning!

EDIT*** I have read back through the thread, did you get points or a fine in the end?

There are only cameras in the towns/villages where we stick to the limit anyway.

And no, never heard anything so still nil points for me.

Good job the clocks do change as we'd be heading off before sunrise otherwise! Extra hour in bed well spent.
