Hi,
I got my S on Saturday and due to the weather its been sat on the drive and I've yet to venture out in it therefore as a complete newbie I'd be up for a local meet.

Definately up for one!
We could join up with the Hampshire Jap Car Club, as they have monthly meets at a pub on Portsdown Hill.
There was a great turnout for the last meet down here in the New Forest, and it'd be good to get to another one before I part ways with my S later this year.

January one was going to be last week, but it was cancelled due to the weather.
I'll post up here when the next one it.
Usually it's a case of meeting up on the hill, talking cars etc for a while, then having a drive over to a carpark in Chichester to get out of the wind/rain, and for a good chance to get some wkd photos of the obscene cars that have come along.

Big public car park, excellent cafe & outside seating area to watch whatever is in the air.
Am member so may be able to get some cars onto airfield itself for photo call.
For those not working can ditto above most Thursdays.
PM me if want more info.
On the same aeronautical flavour the flying club at Goodwood has limited cafe accomodation but lots of parking, and the food at Compton Abbas airfield near Shaftesbury has an excellent reputation. Fabulous scenery too.
