Sorry, can't make it. The students first day back at Nottingham University. I'm sure many of you know what it is like. Maybe next time.

Hey ho
I don't think I'll me able to make the 23rd, too soon after collecting the car. I hope another meet is organised before winter really sets in as it would be great to meet up with everyone and put faces to names!

It would be a great excuse to put a few miles on the car to speed up the run in - about 300 miles return according to Shell Geostar. Go on, you know you want to. Trust me, the grin on your face when driving will double in size when you're in a convoy of a dozen S2Ks.

I am *really* tempted to come down, I get the car on the Friday but am worried about all the motorway miles to get down to the Cotswolds... if anyone can suggest alternative (twisty ) routes then I'm game!

At 70-80mph cruising you wont be anywhere near VTEC ,and as Steve says it will put a lot of those run-in miles on the clock!

OK sold to the man in red.

Honda UK permitting (i.e. I get the car in one piece and on time) I'll be there with my wife.

I feel an early start is on the cards to get down on time, still, no worries about breaking the speed limit too much

I have a grin on my face already!

I'm travelling down from Leigh so were not that far away if you wan't to go down in convoy.
I really wouldn't want to subject you to the speed I will have to drive down at...

Things may be better for the return trip though
