Although one of the chaps at the meet traded in an XK100 for an S-Type R. He bought it from Gatwick Jaguar. After a month or so, thought he'd contact the previous owner, only for him to send back pics of it 5 feet shorter than normal! XK's.
Turns out that while parked in a car park in Canary Wharf, some poor bloke had a seizure and slammed the throttle down, only to smash into the XKR and wrap it around a pillar. Anyhow the 'crooks' (alledgedly) at Gatwick Jag had done a cut and shut and passed it off as mint. (they bought it off a salvage yard and put it back together!)The number plate lowering requires the full Arden body kit, your for

I intended to go to this one (Rallye Power the S is still in the garage
