Here's a map. Apologies if it's one that was posted above.

Great fun and without doubt, the best roads in the UK. The run from Tongue down to Altbea on the Friday was awesome as the scenery on the West Coast is unrivalled.

As you'll have gathered, we started in Inverness on the Thursday morning, up to Tongue for the Thursday evening, down to Altbea on the Friday, over to Fort Augustus (by Loch Ness) on the Saturday, and then a tour round the Cairngorm area (Tomatin, Carrbridge etc.) before stopping mid-Sunday afternoon at Dalwhinnie. About 1,000 miles in 3 and a half days.

I have a details of c 2000 miles of roads that are good for the S in scotland. I can give you details when you get nearer your planning stage, or PM me what you are thinking about re a route and I can tell you which roads are good/bad etc.
