02 sensor problem?
I gave up on this thread as it just turned into a why don't you drive your car faster debate lol. A 23 year old driving an s2000 with due care and attention? Never! Haha well I'm that person!
I just wanted to know if my short and SLOW driving habits would lead to me damaging my 02 sensor.
And I shall repeat again... Until you lot have blasted a bike around nice sweeping bends and experience 0-60 in under 3 seconds at nearly every occasion you should refrain from commenting on why I don't need to drive my car fast

plus if you work for a company as well known as prodrive then you should know the answer to your own question unless your the cleaner
so if you really do need an answer then NO you lambda probe isn't the problem, this is a fuel trim to try and keep your emissions as close to lambda 1.000 as possible and if it deviates from it's task as much as were thinking(fuel smell and fuel coming out of the exhaust) then it would be well outside its parameters and would defo put your light on. as Mb suggested get a 02 test done if your still worried or better still put a scope on the signal wire and check how your probe is switching,
Ang. PS, please don't tell me you've got matching bike and leathers LOL
But as I said, I took the car out the next day and the problem had gone so I just think I maybe coked it up a bit so nothing to worry about
And F3 ANG, well done
Thanks
