Default 06 engine in 04 model

Just out of curiosity. Could you please someone tell me what modifications need to do to put a 06 engine in a 04 model S2000?

06 models are not drive by wire throttle...

Had a good think about this and I cannot see any problems at all.
I have March 2006 car and it's not DBW, the later 2006 cars may be.

Anyone suggest if there any isues with ECU?

Even if it was a DBW version surely you could put the TB and sensors from the 04 engine on it and you'd be fine ??

The engine itself, is that any different, I don't think so (well as long as it's an AP1 engine, not a US/JDM 2.2) so go ahead

Thank you guys for your replies

I just wanted to check if that was an easy conversion

Surerly not a different engine. The difference is just DBW. Just asked if it's easy to swap TB and all the sensors.
