Putting the car on a diet is the cheapest way to lower your time.

I managed a 14.4 at crail drag strip (rubbish surface) with my car almost standard HTH.

thanks for the reply's i know york isnt the best place if your wanting good times. been told santa pod is the best?
forgot to ad there was a head wind.which ive been told can make a differance?

esem i was thinking about the wheels. would they makes much of a differance? maybe dropping down to 16's?? with some drag tires? only thing that conserns me is the diff. would it take the punishment with drag tires on?

been thinking of taking the ac out. as ive never used it. plus should tidy the engine bay up.

A proper tune, smaller lightweight wheels, dump the clutch at just before vtec.

The best I have seen 100% legitimate and bone stock was 13.8 on the yank forum.

With that sort of time it must have been a glued strip.
I think only Santa pod use glue here in the UK.

At Santa pod the marshals were telling my mates 60 foot is probably the most important time because a small improvement on 60 foot is a bigger improvement over the overall time. They said just practice your launches and you will see a good improvent. Worked for them.
