Default 17" wheels

Considering Rota slipstream wheels in 17x7.5 et45 front and 17x8 et48 rear.

With 245 rears and 215 front

Anyone have experience of this combination? I have rear the FAQ and they meet the minimum offset requirements. Main thing is keeping the front scrub radius similar to stock

Thanks

They look like the wheels that PJL recently fitted to his S2000. He was getting a little bit of rub at Donington but he was hammering the car and it is lowered.

I was looking at these and believe that they do fit. However I phoned Hond-R who stock them at a good price and they didnt think that they would but never phoned me back.

I think that they will look great on a Silverstone would be keen to see some more pics.

I noticed that PJL had them but havent managed to find any great pics yet.

Edited to add that my only concern was over the minimal stagger front and rear. Are 8" at the back wide enough for 245's or will they be a little pinched?

Currently I have 18x 7.5 et42 with 225/35/18 all round. No rubbing issues.

As you know this isnt ideal. The Slipstreams will change the wheel position from my 18s:

Front:
New Wheel Width 7.5
New Wheel Offset 45

The clearance from suspension to the inside of the wheel will be 3mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will RETRACT an extra 3mm

Rear:
New Wheel Width 8
New Wheel Offset 48
The clearance from suspension to the inside of the wheel will be12mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 0mm

Not really doing much for the stagger, well just moving the front in 3mm and I guess it is moving the centre of the rears in 6mm. So really this is making the stagger worse?

Im messing with the offset calculator as found in the wheel guide as I type, Just compared the new wheels to the standard 16s on the AP1s.
The fronts and rears both end up having the outer edge further 23mm futher out compared to the stock ones. Looking at the inner and outer clearances though it seems the stagger will increase with the Rotas?

OE 16s > 17" Rotas
Current Wheel Width 6.5
Current Wheel Offset 55

New Wheel Width 7.5
New Wheel Offset 45

The clearance from suspension to the inside of the wheel will be 3 mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 23 mm

Current Wheel Width 7.5
Current Wheel Offset 65

New Wheel Width 8
New Wheel Offset 48

The clearance from suspension to the inside of the wheel will be 11 mm MORE
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 23 mm
