Default 2 and a half trips to get my tyres fitted

Hello all,

As the title suggests, today it took me 2 and a half attempts to get my new rear tyres fitted. After Mr. ATS Tyre man finished, we had a short chat about cars and such, and then parted with the usual "Cheers, have a good day" etc. I got in the car and drove off, only to realise (as my phone was ringing) that I hadn't payed. So I turned around and went back to pay, and had another chat about cars.

Then, once I got home, I had another quick look at the new tyres and noticed that on the outside wall of the passenger side rear it read, "Inside" So, went back to said garage again... Glad to say, it's all good now But, I'm gonna miss the tail-happiness a bit. At least I'll save on fuel costs as I'll be driving more sensibly.

Royce

On oponeo.co.uk, they're £110 each. But I just checked a few local places and got them ordered and fitted for £270. (2 tyres) I don't know how this compares with other owners, but I think it was quite pricey. I almost got them for free though

Free would be better . I'm after the RE050a's myself in the next week or so. I was quoted about £256 fitted I think.

Try event tyres, with s2kuk discount, you should get it for less than 250.

I fear that this is not the end of the story...Re050 MZ are the correct tyres as recommended by Honda.

that is for OEM 17's, I believe 16's are RE050A. Pog, you are in Bristol aren't you? If so, don't feel too bad about Event tyres as they don't cover Bristol, you'd have spent £20 on fuel meeting them in Gloucester to get the job done.

Sounds fair to me.
