It'll depend which Ade you're talking about as well. I'm very happy with my car. It seems better than the 02 to me.

I'm not a fan at all of those new rear clusters.
I like the new lights.

ade are you saying its not as good? Also did they change the gear ratios?
It depends on what your idea of GOOD is, if its the original version that honda made then no the 04 isnt as good. The only upgrade the car needed was a heated glass rear screen, leather centre console and a better stereo/speakers.
If by GOOD you mean softer/more forgiving suspension/handling, cluttered front and rear lights and a load of fake metal trim on the interior and ffs a clock then the 04 is for you, or you could just buy a Z4, Boxster or a TT.

Honda make wonderful cars but then gives in to mass market appeal and waters down its cars, thus we get the NSX auto and t top, the gayest CRX in the world and the square PRELUDE

If its not broken dont mess with it.

I agree entirely Ade. I think Honda's intentions are clear when reading the new brochure. It's mass-market approach with girlie colour range, stuck on bits of aluminium and spoilers just left me cold. It may well sell more cars though, so I can't criticise them for it.

Whereas the old brochure had complex looking diagrams of the gearbox (proper engineering looking things ), and described how the S2000 concept was put into reality. A real enthusiasts piece of work I'd propbably have bought off ebay if it wasn't kicking around in my cupboard when I bought the car.

The new one might as well be a Freemans catalog.

The wheels and syncro are better, but I think the lights are worse and not sure about the rear suspension changes.

It is pretty obvious that Honda did change the car to become more attractive to the masses, but its still an amazing car. Shame there probably won't be a new model.
