Default 2007 Radiator on a 52 Reg?

And how easy is it to do so!

Mine is looking a bit rotten, no problems with cooling (well not in the North East of the UK ) just some of the foil baffles are falling away...

I think it will work fine,

I've no clue what a "52 Reg" might be but it appears the same Denso radiator was used in the USDM cars thru 2006. Part number changed in 2007 but the 2006 and 2007 cars are identical as far as I can see (my 2006 is only a couple of weeks shy of being a 2007). I doubt Honda was making radical changes in radiators or mounts and the 2008 owners manual shows the same 2.01 US gallon coolant capacity as the all the others so if Honda put a different radiator in there for the CR is was the same size. There are aftermarket radiators available for half the cost of a new OEM radiator.

Hardest part is bleeding the coolant after you're done. Since coolant changes are on a time, not mileage, basis I'd use new coolant when refilling.

Cheers Chuck, 52 Registration just refers to a car registered in the UK, from September 2002 onwards until March 2003...when it becomes a 03 !

We physically verified the USDM radiators are identical for the '02 and '06 cars. Denso part numbers match. I can't see how the '07 radiator wouldn't work. The 2007 shop manual indicates the '06 and '07 cooling system has a different sensor (or two) but the Denso part numbers are identical with the earlier radiators.

So looking at pics of this radiator from a 2007, it looks like the fins and foil baffles are vertical, whereas mine are horizontal.

Assuming the rest of the piping fits!

The early and late cars have different temp sensors, they're different sizes. Aftermarket rads tend to have holes for both sensors and you bung up whichever one you're not using.
