It pulled violently to the left, even under 6,000 RPM? you are running it in aren't you
If its doing that without hitting VTEC, have you checked that the tyres are 32 psi all round
Perhaps they gave you the new front wheel drive S2000 and its just torque steer

What MB says (esp. about the running in - dont exceed 5000 rpm for the 1st 600 miles).

If the alignment has been properly checked, I agree that tyre pressures are the most likely cause of the problem - the S2000 is incredibly sensitive to tyre pressure - one tyre a few psi down (esp at the rear) will cause the 'pulling' you describe.

Mine exhibited the same behaviour when two weeks old, turned out to be a puncture in one of the rears, you would never have known from looking at the tyres though, they both looked fully inflated. As suggested by the others pressure is the most likely cause of the problem, either punture or just not inflated to the correct PSI.

My S2000 had very bad front wheel alignment and one rear, the result was 2 new tyres and all wheels re-aligned, tyre pressure appeared to be OK. well now it has been sorted no problems.

Sorry to be thick but this issue pops up several times. When taking delivery of a brand new car:

What exactly do you mean should be done by the dealer in terms of '4 wheel alignment'?

Is it part of standard Honda PDI? If not, have people been able to insist on it without cost?

How do I know the dealer can do the 4 wheel alignment, and that it has been done?

thx
