Default 6 DAYS AND COUNTING!

Sadly I'm even finding it hard sleeping at night!
Went to view my blue S yesterday (and pay for it unfortunately).
Call it Nurby blue, ladyboy blue or whatever, but to me it looked gorgeous sitting there in the dealer's showroom having just been preped. I still can't quite believe I'll be driving it away next Wednesday (ordered it the middle of June).
I had been a little bit dubious about buying an import, but all my fears have certainly been put to rest - it really is totally UK spec.
The dealer even got his hands blackened as he demonstrated to me that the 'thinner-than-normal' coating of underseal on imports really is a myth.
Even has the Honda alarm (although I'm not convinced that's such a good thing), and locking wheel nuts.

Anyone else out there having sleepless nights?

Where did you get it from and how much did you pay. I could quite fancy a brand new one in a years time.

By the way, I forgot to say hi and thank everyone for all the invaluable information I've received from the forum over the past few months

Looking forward to finally upgrading my status to 'Owner'! (I'll be doing it immediately Aquilaeagle!) and hopefully helping other people with advice too.

Thanks again all.

Hi Neil
As I'm the superstitious type, do you mind if I wait until I've picked the car up before I answer this one?
The reason is - everything seems to have gone so smoothly so far, and the dealer has been exceptional. I just don't want to tempt fate by giving a glowing reference!
If the thread is still alive in a week's time, I'd like to turn the response into a report of my experience concerning price and service received, etc., as I guess a few others out there may want to know. Otherwise I'll PM you.
Hope that's ok.

Hi Aluminium!

I remember a sleepless night in a Brussels hotel, awaiting collection the following day!

PS - If a black cat breaks your mirror, throw Macbeth over your shoulder!

It isn't.

One of the benefits of an import is no POS alarm.

It may cause you lots of problems and your boot won't open remotely (will work occasionally).

Yep I'm waiting for mine, although putting a private plate on it.

Picking her up at 11am on 1st, might see you there if we are using the same dealer!!!

Hey Al2!

Fill in the location stuff on your log in so that we can find out which area you are from.

IIRC the 04/54 model has a different alarm fob with (gasp) a separate button for remote boot open. You don't know how much us two buttoners envy you three buttoners!!!!!

Damn you!
