Default Ac delete

Hi people before I start I just want to say have done a search

I have removed most of the ac parts under the bonnet but I would like a couple of pointers to finish this please.

1) I want to keep the heater function but is there anything to remove out of the box under the dash n/s or do I just disconnect the two hard lines?

2) I have a short aux belt but have never done this before so a how to on this would be ace.

Thank you for the help guys.

When I did this with my old Civic Type R I just capped the lines at the firewall and left the unit inside. It was way too much work to dig it out of the heater system and didn't weigh that much to warrant the time.
Spanner on tensioner and move it release tension, shorter belt should follow the same routes minus the AC. Search for photos of the engine

We did this over the weekend. I figured I have aircon as standard... button is just by the handbrake :-)

Removing the dash is required if you want... im capping the hard pipes off where the pipes go through the fire wall though, removing the dash is a big job!

Google toda light weight pulleys... youll find a nice image of how the shorter belt goes. Its self tensioner so no worries with belt tension.

Hard lines can be removed all the way to firewall then it's up to you if you want to remove dash if not just leave as is that's what I did
