I'm with you on this
On the roof thing there are several common areas
side seals leakaging - clean and silicon grease usually sports this
latches/stikers wearing - links to striker plates and latches adjustment
frames wearing holes - link to "lizard skins"
splits in plastic screens - link to decewnt hood replacement thread
Is it a GT? - link to HT fitting kit thread of some sort

On the parts front there is a good US site for part nos majestic honda IIRC

Is there anything else that should be added from a new used buyers perspective?

I think it is worth mentioning that the older cars do burn oil (up to 1 litre per thousand mile is acceptable). Therefore, check your oil religiously after filling up, making sure the ground is flat and level...as most forecourts are, waiting at least 5 minutes before the engine has been turned off.

As for part numbers: http://www.hondapartsnow.com/oem/honda-s2000-parts.html

Bear in mind this is a US site, so is for LHD. If in any doubt, your dealer can email you the relevant IPC page so you can identify the relevant part(s).

I also think that a brief insight into Geometry and seized adjusters should be included.

We do seem to be overrun with oil and tyre questions particularly, think this will be a big help (if people can find/search for it )

I think a glossary of abbreviations would be helpful too. Quite often people type acronyms to save time but to those not in the know they are meaningless! e.g. IPC???

No idea if this would work...

The thing that makes the FAQ frustrating is that you cannot correct or update the info only add to the bottom of the FAQ unless of course it is your own post .

Would it be possible to set up an FAQ for the S on Wikipedia that we could then all update and add to, an worldwide resource for all S owners which could be linked to from here.

I wouldn't say that the bolts "tend" to be stuck, "might" or "can" be stuck would be better. The issue is a bit overstated IMO. How many owners have "had" to replace all their bushes and bolts?

Most people are affected by one or two at most, and it's certainly worth explaining that getting the vbolts greased at the earliest opportunity is definitely worthwhile.
