Excuse my ignorance, but what do the drop links do and why have them adjustable?

At the risk of embarassing myself by showing my complete lack of tech knowledge, drop links connect the anti roll bars to the suspension.

By replacing the OEM component, which is of a fixed length, with an adjustable link you can pre-load the ARB, i.e. put it under stress and therefore limit it's movement, which will mean the car corners flatter and, in the case of my 05 car, the back end won't be so bouncy.

Or something like that (I await correction by the experts)........

Are these the only lengths that will fit, or does it depend on preference / what handling charicteristics you're trying to achieve?

Also, will the adjustable links alter the ride height?

Sorry if these are totally stupid questions.........

You could probably fit different lengths, depending what you wanted to acheive. 60 front / 90 rear are the standard sizes IIRC, so really with these you can only increase the length. Increasing the length seems to reduce the effect of the ARB slightly, which is why I still have my rears set at 100mm instead of 90mm to give a bit more rear grip. But YMMV.

If you adjust left and right the same, it'll have no effect on preloading, bounciness or ride height. But you could adjust them differently to bias the car to turn one way better than the other - perhaps you're an American who can only drive on ovals, or perhaps you live in Milton Keynes.

Really adjustable droplinks are a cheap way to get a bit of adjustability without getting an adjustable ARB.

Sorry if I've misunderstood your reply, Dembo, but I wasn't asking if I could have different lengths on each side, I was trying to establish if the sizes you run are the only option for the S2000, before I purchase.

It looks like all the other sizes in the Whiteline range are quite a bit longer, so I guess they would be too long..........

interesting about the adjustable droplinks giving you the chance for more 'roll'

I've got the cusco front and rear ARB's, i'll see how I get on, but bit I need more grip I guess i can soften things off to attain that then.
