Default A.A. Admit Liability For Damage To My Car......

Finally I got the go-ahead from the A.A. to get the work done to my wing, after one of their 'engineers.....pah' damaged it.
If you remember he was only asked to look at the battery (which failed ) but caused

I've seen a black Prelude that had a new wing after a scape. Looked fine. Not sure if it was Berlina black, but at least it was a Honda.

Hope the car comes back fine

Seems a trend.. if you're called Andy don't trust a man with a van!

(Andy Winskil - Damaged alloys from tire fitter, plus AnDy's AA man damage....)

The old rims are a bugger as I can't get my S2000 in the garage. It's got bird sh1t all over the bonnet now

You can wall mount/stack alloys. Or the loft if border. Or go for the Impreza estate, forget about carrying a dog, and use it to ferry alloys to the track.

Have you though of having them reconditioned?

Got four rims+tyres, jack etc in Impreza 4 door just fine, so I'm trying to avoid the load lugger. Besides the 5 door new Impreza looks just sh!te. Now a new S4 could be tempting....

Not really got past the thought of having slicks on the old rims

That should be entertaining. We could hold a sweepstake on how many spins

I'm considering buying a video camera for taping track days, I've already got the details from some helpful US guys on how to mount it.

So hopefully next track day Andy, I'll get both in car, and out of car footage.

As I have a mezzanine in the garage, but no room for an Impreza, I am considering purchasing a second set of rims for winter tyres. (I am concious the S-02's are warm weather friends).

Are you interested in selling?

Nick,

I'm in the same boat. I want to either put track tyres or winter tyres on the rims. So unfortunately, no they're not for sale....

If your OEM S02's are getting down you may want to try swapping them for S02PP's which have much better wet grip. Judging by the pools outside this morning I'm about to find out!
