Advice about seized bolts
I know there was a lot of debate a while ago but it is a bit quiet now so I'd appreciate advice please.....
Background
1) I purchased a new UK S2K in Sept '04.
2) It has FHSH plus interim oil changes.
3) At the 1st year service I asked the dealer (following checking this site) to copper slip the suspension bolts. The service manager (said) he checked with Honda wheteher this work could be carried out under warranty and said it could. I have a print out of that service stating that the suspension bolts were lubricated.
4) The car is obviously still in warranty.
Current
After the Durham geometry meet I have 4 seized bolts .
I have put in a warranty claim via the servicing dealer who agreed there were seized bolts but it has been rejected (allegedly as there is not a manufacturing defect).
Rejection hurts but I expected it, so my next plan was to Write to Honda to say I am not happy and offer 3 options.
1) they sort it at the dealer
2) they pay Centre Gravity to do it
3) I commission a report from C of G and I pay them to do the work. Then I take Small Claims Court action with the C of G report and anything from this site as evidence .
Should I approach it differently?
Is there someone in particular to write to at Honda (I know they know there is a problem)?
Has anyone on here had their's done within warranty?
Cheers
Paul

I have had two 04 cars with seized bushes both were refused and warranty work by Honda.
On the basis that if the gepmetry is in spec the car is fit for purpose and not faulty.
I argued and adjuster should adjust not seize.
No luck
Good luck with your case!
