Advice on pads
Need to change the pads on the front and was wondering what you guys would advise is it worth upgrading if so what too? Or stick with standard? Btw I am quite hard the the brakes at times
Oh....
Ferodo DS2500 always popular, but about 50% dearer than stock.
I've used them and they improve stopping and last well.
Stock pads are really good at the price, I wouldnt try and save money by buying cheaper.

Dixcel Brake Type Z is what I'm using and they're really fantastic. Stop quicker, much less mashing the brake peddle when you need to slow down quickly altogether better pads than oem.
Also they don't chew your discs which OEM rear pads seem to

If you are just road driving then stick to stock pads imo; loads cheaper as well.
The Ferodo's squeak as well at low speed.
If you are going to go on track and hammer your brakes then the Ferodo's offer a fade free experience.

I went to Performance Friction and got their "97" compound.
Bit rubbish when cold, but when warmed they really bite hard.
And if you are really tanking it you get sparks flying out the wheels like a sparkler. (I'm still unsure if this is good or bad)
