I'm looking for some advise on selling my imported S2000. Im looking to buy a house and the only way i am going to do this is to sell my honda. I basically want to know what i should expect to get for it and the appropriate places to advertise.

Spec as follows:

X(2000) Plate with 39,000 miles.
Black with Black Leather Interior. All Usual extras.
Excellent Condition (Im sure everyone says that)
6 months Tax, 12 months MOT, recent service in January 05.

What impact does it have being an import on Car Price Guide Valuations ?

Hope someone can help ??

If its a Euro import expect to lose the same amount of money that you saved. Some dealers will be a bit arsey about it at px but most will be fine.

IMO the price should be about 15% lower than the normal UK supplied used car price.

JDM will be different and I have no idea, but would guess at a 20-25% reduction in price.

by the time a euro import is 5 years old the fact that it was sold via european dealer has no real bearing on the resale price in my opinion. whilst i would use it as a bargaining point, i really wouldn't expect any discount by that point. after all, there is no difference in spec and the warranty is long out of date.

I agree with lower.

Give it a try!

It's completely the wrong time to be selling, so it might take a while.

Black/blacks don't seem to come up that often - It's not a tricky combo to sell, such as is yellow/black.

I don't know how dealers justify such used prices, though. A new import is only
